The Rovio spin-off Kaiken Publishing Ltd. (now know as Kaiken Entertainment) was a creative publishing agency that had building original story worlds as their core service and strenght. They requested a brand identity that would reflect. Since it was solely a publishing entity back then I presented an idea about peeling back or tearing through endless layers. That there is always another layer underneath to explore.

In addition the ‘going deeper into the layers’ thinking I wanted the identity to evolve with every piece of stationery and other visual representation of the brand. This in order for the identity to always feel reinvigorated and reflect the endless search for new stories. To achieve that I came up with a simple generative system that results with endless graphical combinations.
